Visiting Tracy Aviary

Mobility:

I did not see any wheel chairs or electric scooters. However, the aviary is fairly flat with benches spaced throughout the facilities to sit and rest.

Food and Drink:

Over near the Andean condor cage there is a facility: Bird Feeder Cafe. It has a limited amount of food and drink. It seemed to specialize in coffee drinks.

Souvenirs:

There is a small gift shop at the entrance. There are limited souvenirs, such as a few t-shirts, puzzles, coffee cups, and drink coasters.

Safety:

As with all zoos, you should never feed or touch the animals (unless it is part of a show or demonstration). There are a few bird cages that you can get fairly close to. It is important to watch kids, especially those who like to touch.

Miscellaneous:

Tracy Aviary have bird shows daily except Mondays.

If you get to Tracy Aviary before it opens, you might see through the fence a zoo keeper taking Andy N. Condor for a walk around the grounds.
