For this day animal lovers unite to educate others and advocate for action against animal cruelty, neglect and any unfair treatment of animals.

The "National" in this day is for the United Kingdom , though some other European countries like Germany also celebrate it.  I am hoping we can have a US National Badger Day!  Who's with me, at least Wisconsin! American Badger
